Before you make an appointment with us for your very own Krown undercoating, we want to answer some of the most asked questions so that you know exactly what you’re getting from us!
What is Krown Undercoating?
According to the official website, Krown undercoatingĀ “…is designed to slow down or inhibit corrosion on vehicles. It is a petroleum based product with rust inhibitors containing no solvents…is environmentally safe, contains no toxins, is non-flammable, is non-reactive, is non-corrosive, can be sprayed in any weather, remains active, and is not WHMIS controlled.“
When is the BEST time to get Krown Undercoating?
If you are new to Krown and have never had it put on your vehicle, the best time is NOW. Due to the fact that it can be sprayed at any time of the year, in any weather – the sooner the better. If you are already a Krown customer, you should get it re-sprayed every 12 months, as that is when the protection wears off.
Can you still wash your car?
Yes, you can. Just make sure you wait a few days after spraying to let the Krown undercoating sink in. When washing, avoid using hot water, degreasers or high water pressure. Other than that, it is a great idea to make sure your car stays nice and clean!
What if I need a large vehicle or transport truck sprayed and can’t make it to WestMount?
Don’t worry! We have a mobile unit that will come to you. We want to make sure all of Greater Moncton is protected with Krown Undercoating!
How much does Krown Undercoating cost?
All of our Krown Undercoating pricing can be found on our website. The prices differ for vehicles depending on size and type.
How does Krown Undercoating differ from other products?
“Krown, by comparison, is self-healing and is constantly creeping, remaining active to continuously repel moisture and keep it away from the metal surface.” Unlike other products that might be called “similar” Krown cannot be breached by abrasion or corrosion. Krown can offer lubricating benefits to many moving parts, such as door locks, brake cables, etc.
There really are not any downsides to Krown Undercoating and at WestMount, we want you to drive away happy!
